Why Chasing Vanity is Killing Your Business (And What to Focus on Instead)

Most entrepreneurs are focused on vanity metrics.

They ask questions like:

  • What's going to get us the most followers?
  • What thumbnail / title combo will get the most views?
  • Then, once we have a big following, how can we monetize it?

🤮🤮🤮

This approach is so lazy... which is exactly why 90% of the market is doing it.

I would suggest asking yourself the bigger questions:

  • What unique value do I have to offer?
  • Who will benefit from it most?
  • How can I best support them in their journey?

These might be a little harder to answer, but that's kind of the point.

Here's the thing:

Optimizing for vanity is a fool's errand.

It's a means to an end and will leave you and your customers feeling empty.

Instead, let's focus on solving the real problems.

Let's actually contribute some value to the world.
