surfing = business

When you're surfing, you’re at the mercy of the ocean.

Some days, the waves are perfect and everyone is out there, eager to catch the ride of a lifetime.

Other days, it's totally flat, not a wave in sight.

But in order to surf, you gotta be in the right position to spot a wave and paddle for it so you can even have a chance to ride it.

Leading a business is a lot like surfing.

You're often at the mercy of market conditions.

Some days, demand is high, and everyone is rushing to capitalize.

Other days, the market is quiet, and opportunities seem scarce.

Just like in surfing, to succeed in business, you must be in the right position, ready to spot the opportunity and take it when it comes.

But I don't think it's a coincidence that the best surfers just enjoy being in the water.
