roadmap example
A few months ago, a custom home builder approached me to help refresh their brand identity and establish a stronger, more aligned reputation in their market, one that reflects the vision of their ideal future.
Whenever I work with a new client, I always start by spending a day or two with them one-on-one. There’s no strict agenda during this time — my goal is to dive deep into their business, understand who they are, and get clear on their vision for the future so that I can help them work towards this.
From there, I create a high-level roadmap of initiatives I recommend tackling. Some clients take this roadmap and implement it on their own, while a few bring me in to lead everything for them.
Today, I wanted to share an example of what one of these roadmaps looks like. All details have been redacted for privacy, but this should give you a sense of how I approach "brand-driven marketing strategy." Unlike traditional marketing, my work focuses heavily on the brand side of things — building a strong foundation that guides everything else.
This roadmap is intentionally simple and easy to digest. While each initiative that I recommend will inevitably have more depth and nuance, this outline helps us align on a shared vision and set a clear plan of action from the start.
You can check out the example here.
Any questions? I'd love to hear from you.
