Position yourself into alignment

This morning a new friend and I were chatting over coffee.

He’s a talented songwriter here in Nashville.

He’s been at it now for over 15 years and has built quite a name for himself.

We were talking about finding alignment between:

  1. Your talent (your natural skill, ability, perspective, etc)
  2. Your offering (the vehicle of which you deliver #1)
  3. Your fans (or users, customers, clients, etc)

And how finding this alignment is what all entrepreneurs are striving for.

So that by simply “existing”, and doing what comes to us naturally, we're able to provide immense value to those who want it.

Thus making “business” way more fulfilling...

And having the potential to make way more money (if you want that).

We agreed that this is the dream for any entrepreneur.

We discussed what practical steps one could take to make this a reality.

After having a few hours this afternoon to reflect on it a little more, this is how I would suggest finding this alignment:

  1. Get clear on the natural value you offer
  2. Define who would benefit from it most
  3. Become part of their success story

More on this soon 😃

P.S. My friend Blake actually touches on this a bit in his most recent YouTube video. I highly suggest checking out his work if you're an entrepreneur or in the business of expertise. We've been working together through a rebrand of his business. Can't wait to share!
