My coaches and mentors

Let’s say you have a big goal—a vision—something big you want to accomplish.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably an entrepreneur, which means I already know you’re chasing something ambitious.

Here’s the thing: one of the biggest "hacks" to achieving what you want is surrounding yourself with people who’ve already done it. It’s like rocket fuel. Just by showing up, asking them questions, following their instructions, and simply observing them, you absorb their knowledge, their habits, and their mindset.

There’s so much to learn from people who’ve been exactly where you are now.

But I’ll admit—these days, the coaching and mentorship space feels sooooo crowded and scammy. Every other ad is some guy promising to help you hit $30k/month. It’s hard to know who’s legit and who’s just making noise.

So today, I want to cut through the noise and give a shout-out to a few of the real ones who’ve helped me immensely along my journey:

  1. Blake La Grange – Blake helped me zero in on my "true value" and connect more deeply with my expertise. We’ve been working together for a few years now, and it’s the best money I’ve ever spent. Funny enough, Blake has since become a client and partner of mine, and I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and will continue to do together.
  2. Jonathan Stark – Jonathan is an advocate for independent consultants charging what they’re worth. He’s the reason I started sending these daily emails (he’s been doing it for years). His email list alone is a goldmine for anyone running a solo, expertise-driven business.
  3. Trey Fitch – Back in 2018, I was tired of going to the local YMCA and wanted some real guidance in the gym. I found a place just a few blocks from my apartment called H Dub Athletics, and I struck gold. Trey has been my fitness coach and mentor ever since, and he’s made working out fun while building an amazing community.
  4. Andy Morgan – A few years ago, I wanted to optimize my nutrition and work on my physique. I wasn’t necessarily "out of shape", but I was curious about how to best fuel my body. Andy’s guidance helped me drop from 18% body fat to a steady 13% within a year, and I couldn’t have done it without his expertise and accountability.

I’m not saying you need to work with these specific people. But what I am saying is this: surround yourself with people who are passionate about their craft, who’ve done what you want to do, and who show up consistently for those they serve.

These folks have shown up for me, and I can’t overstate how much it's improved my life and business.
