Knowing yourself

You don’t make anything special by giving the audience exactly what they expect.

In fact… the audience always comes second.

The priority is to build something true to your vision and values – no matter how unusual or weird. When you create from a place of true authenticity / passion / excitement, it becomes more powerful—and ironically, more appealing to those who need it most.

I think that's why a lot of people's side projects tend to take off without much effort... the primary goal is to have fun. No huge pressure or expectation to perform.

Truth is ... people can tell from a mile away when something is crafted with real intent. Authenticity draws them in, while trying to please everyone leads to something watered down and ends up blending into everything else.

When you stay true to your vision, and articulate it clearly, your work naturally resonates. The strongest connection comes from integrity, not catering to some random stranger’s expectations.

But to be yourself, you gotta know yourself 😃
