How I sell expensive things on the world wide web

Selling things on the Internet can be really complicated ...

Once you've got your offering dialed, there are really just four places that you need to focus:

  1. Traffic — You need a source of people who would likely be interested in what you have to offer. This could come from creating content, running paid ads, being on a podcast, getting press, etc.
  2. Demonstration — You need a place to demonstrate the value you have to offer. This could also be your website, a single landing page, a product page, a sales video, a video review, a product demo, etc.
  3. Conversion — You'll need a way to seal the deal and accept payment. This could be a sales call, a checkout page, or maybe just an invoice.
  4. Fulfillment — Last, but certainly not least, you'll need a mechanism to fulfill on your offer. This could be your fulfillment team, your course content, your customer service, etc.


Blend all of these elements into a seamless experience and you'll build more and more trust with your customers each step of the way.
